Hi, I’m Joseph Cilento- a composer and music producer living and working in New York City. I grew up on the east coast of the US before studying, traveling and performing across the country and abroad. Over the past few years I have been working as a musician, engineer and composer. This brought on many challenges and wonderful opportunities. Over time I developed skills and sensibilities that come directly from working on contemporary music, classical, Broadway cast albums, metal and folk projects. Collaboration with musicians and technical staff is a core part of my principle and workflow in the pursuit of creative projects that uplift and share stories.

After studying primarily at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA I relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in scoring for film, TV, and media. I have had the privilege to work on films such as Leave it Better Media’s “Farmers for America” & “Showdogs” (2018), Joe has also contributed music and audio engineering to hit TV shows “Big City Greens” (Disney), “Boss Baby: Back in Business” (Netflix/Dreamworks) & Dreamworks’ “Where’s Waldo”, and (Netflix) “Oddballs”. Since moving back to the east coast of the US, I have also had the privilege to work on various albums, live events and recording sessions. I continue t0 pursue music and sonic opportunities both in and out of the studio.

On my days off, I am usually hiking with my studio pups, Zeppelin + Darby and making pizza.
